Springfield at Whitney Oaks Homeowners Association is a 55+ age-restricted development situated within the master planned Whitney Oaks Community Association (WOCA). WOCA is responsible for maintaining Springfield’s privacy gates, streets, street signs, sidewalks, and drainage. WOCA also issues gate key transmitters and pedestrian gate keys, and controls the gate codes.

Springfield homeowners are members of the WOCA and Springfield Homeowners Associations, pay dues to both, may run for office on either Board, serve as members of any committee, and may attend all regular Board, committee, and annual meetings.

In contrast, Whitney Oaks homeowners are not members of the Springfield Homeowners Association and do not pay dues to Springfield. Other than the membership relationship with Whitney Oaks, Springfield is a private development with its own set of governing documents. The homeowners pay separate dues to the Homeowners Association for the common areas, front yard landscaping, and the maintenance and use of its facilities. As such, Springfield’s property and all facilities—pools, spa, exercise rooms, clubhouses and sports courts—are for the private use of its residents and registered guests only. If you are not a resident or the guest of a resident, you are not allowed on Springfield Homeowners Association property or to use any of the facilities.
